At the 2011 SoCal Smackdown I caught up with Tony Kenealy of Aberrant Games, and we talked more about the game Warlands. A post-apocalyptic miniature wargame inspired by movies such as Mad Max, Warriors of the Wasteland and countless others.
Not yet. Honestly though the rules set that is out is more than enough to get a good feel for the game with plenty of options.
The thing I like most about the game is the easy access to figures. A quick trip to your local box retailer's toy department will set you up with enough cars for a big game for around $10. I do have the starter box for Warlands and will probably pick up some bikers but Matchbox/Hot Wheels are just too easy (and cheap) to pass up.
