So, been playing 40k for a few years now and all of a sudden my friends want to play fantasy. So to help keep up i decided to start and Ogre army so i might not have to spend as much... i hope.
so i don't have the book yet, its shipping in now, but i did get the army list data for the forge program, and i came up with this list
please be understanding I've yet to play a game of fantasy so i don't got it all down yet

Lords:
SlaughterMaster 250(got this build off another form, looked good to me so sort of stealing it)
>lvl 4 wiz 35
>channelling staff 15
>armor of destiny 50
>Iron fist 3
total: 353
wanted a potent magic user, that could make my beat sticks... well beater. i hope any way.
attach him to one group of bulls and send them on their merry way

Heroes:
FireBelly 120
>great weapon 9
> dispel scroll 25
>lvl 2 wiz 35 (had extra points to use)
total: 189
heard that these guys are really nice with there extra magic range for ogre and their special attack. threw the dispel scroll on him bc i don't know how many magic items you can put on one guy, and that the scroll look like a good idea lolz
Sticking him with other group of bulls to split power use i guess lol.

Core:
2 x 10 Ogre bulls 600
>Bellowers 20
>standards 20
-lookouts 10 (don't even know what they do, but heck why not)
>Iron fists 40 (can you take additional weapons with iron fists, or a great weapons?)
total: 690
2 big units of doom running up each with a wiz in them buffing them and helping in combat, just runing up the middle

2x 22 Gnoblars 110 (its 2 per 5pts right? that at least thats what Forge is telling me)
>trapers 50
total: 160
running these as my anvil unit (i think im using the term right)

Special Unit:
2 x 3 MournFang Cavalry 360
>heavy armor 30
> Great Weapon 48
total: 438
saw these guys and loved them, who wouldn't just want to cry at the sight of ogre... going fast lol o and then they are str 6 as well so yay for beat-stick
would run the 2 units of 3 on both sides to hunt... bad stuff and flank i guess

Rare Unit:
Iron Blaster 170
um, gun used by the sky-titans? yes please. have no idea what its range, str, or downside is but i want one sitting in the back shooting first at stuff that could get/shoot it, then at stuff that everything else.

Grand total: 2000pts even

please tell me if this list is even legal, then tell me what you think of the list and how i could better it

Let's see... I am by no means an Ogre player, but I guess I could give what advice I can.
I can begin by answering that you got the point cost for Gnoblars right.
Oh, and the list seems very legal. At least I don't notice anything illegal with it.
Then, let's see.. I don't know if 10 Bulls in a unit would be optimal, how are you going to run them? People seem to prefer running Bulls in units of 6 or 9. That is 3 man wide and 2 or 3 man deep.
Also, Bulls cannot have Great Weapons (But Ironguts can). And no, you cannot have an ironfist and an additional hand weapon. It's one or the other.
As for the Iron Blaster, I personally would have used the Scraplauncher instead, it seems slightly better. However, the Iron Blaster is way cooler, so it depends on what you want.
That's my two cents anyways.

oooo i see, i was going to run the 10 bull in a 5 man wide 2 row deep tho im just now realizing the size of the ogre bases... huge lol so ya that might be better, put some points elsewhere

how is the scrap-launcher better than the Iron Blaster, you would think that the giant canon would be more effective than a bunch of scrap metal being tossed about by some gnoblars
i don't have the book yet so i don't have the gun stats n stuff, my builder just tells me the points and who can take what and some stats

would iron-guts be worth it? their stats from what Im seeing look the same as the regular bulls, jut that they can take more stuff.

I'd say that the scrap-launcher would be better because of rules. The Scrap Launcher fires the small template at S3, but with Killing Blow (any roll to wound of six auto-slays the model without armour saves allowed. Works only on Infantry and Cavalry), whereas the Ironblaster can only hit models in a straight line, or fire shots equal to the rolls of an artillery dice (which would need to roll to hit), although at S10.
Note that S10 does not do as much in Fantasy as it does in 40k.. in a way. It removes the target's armour save completely, but does not cause Instant Death.
As for Ironguts... It's the same statline, but Bulls can only have Light armor and shield (ironfist), whereas Iron-guts carry Heavy armour, giving them the same armour save as a Bull with ironfist, plus they carry great weapons, so they strike at S6 with always strikes last.
Oh, and they may have a magical standard.

Personally, I would run one unit of each. They seem to do different things.
