Subject: Finecast US internet sales?

As far to the east you can get without being in Canada.

I live about 40 min. by car from the nearest hobby shop that carries GW products, so I buy most of my items through the internet. I was looking at picking up some Plague Marines, now in Finecast, for my CSM army I am working on. With all the issues with Finecast I thought it would be a good idea to look at them first to see if their are any major problems with them, but the closest store to me did not have any in stock. So I decided to look on-line for some. I usually deal with two reputable sites for my GW needs, but both of the have no Finecast items listed. In fact, one states they have no access to Finecast at all. I can find them from UK web sites but not in the US. Has anyone run into this as well, or am I just not looking in the right place?

GW are actively strangling finecast supplies in general, and I think that they don't offer any store discounts on them at all to non-GW stores.

I got some finecast plague marines and they are so great and so much nicer than having a full squad of the metal guys.
I don't think there was any bubbles or anything but it was hard to tell due to all the intended cracks and plague bits

From my understanding talking to friends who run webstores in the US it has to due to a problem in shipping. Finecast is either too soft and cost is too high to ship let alone with a high chance that the customer will have a bad Customer experience its not worth the risk to their business because of their supplier.

you are better off getting regular CSM and painting them the same color as your other plague marines.
That is what a friend of mine did. They look great and I could not even tell they were not the plague marine models at first, until he pointed it out to me.
