I'm still trying to figure out how to spend those last 10 points. I'm taking tellion partly for lulz, but also because he'll prove very useful against some of my opponents (blob guard, bye bye commisar/orks with pk nob etc.). Dakka preds are durable as hell at this points cost, really cheap and can put out a lot of shots. Scouts have HB's over ML's because of the prevalence of infantry over mech at this points level (dakka preds can deal with them anyway). Null zone on the libby will be a god send if I get paired with a daemons player and avenger can help me deal with anything 3+ or worse up close.

I'm not used to writing for this points level so I expect it could be a good deal better

Looks quite solid a combi weapon costs 10 points, or maybe storm bolters on the preds, not really sure about powers on the librarian null zone seems absolutly usless cause only rending snipers can remove a good armour save how bout might of the ancients, machine curse or quickening?

Thx for the reply, Null zone will be very handy as I know that there are some daemons players there and it's generally a very TAC power. Not everything has a 3+ save and I'm brining ap4 in abundance so unit's like farseers, wyches in cc, DE vehicles with flickerfields etc. are far less effective. It also boosts Tellion's potential as an assassin.

Incinerating your hopes

You're going to have a nightmare time against any other armor though. If someone brings anything over av11, you're going to be in trouble. I would suggest at least 1 or 2 things that can crack av12 and above. If someone brings a LR to the game, and you can at 500, you'll auto-lose to 1 vehicle. silly as it sounds.

If you dont want to change the list put them 10pts into a combimelta so you have sumthing that can kill av14.

Combi melta sounds good, I've also swapped out for Missiles on the scouts.

Man I hate 500 points, it's impossible to build a TAC list of any kind. No finesse at all, and regardless of how you try you will auto-lose vs some armies. Wanna get this out the way so I can jump back into 2k XD

Are those sniper scouts? Sorry, I forget the vanilla scout setup. What's their base equipment? IIRC, 5 camo cloaks are 10 points. Telion's unit won't need it because he has stealth already, but the other one can use it. Makes them less of a juicy target.

I think that you will run into few enough AV12+ that you will probably be fine against them. The only reason to really worry about Land Raiders at 500 points is if they fudge the Org Chart so you don't need two troops and an HQ.

Chaos can run a land raider and a HQ choice of 130pts at 500 points and still have two troop choices

combat squad tac - Sgt.+flamer with chaplain in razorback, second combat midfield support,scout snipers for range support + godd against monsters + av10-12 vehicles, Predator with LC, also MLs in your troops and meltagun for AV13+.

A Landspeeder Storm list is also practically an auto-win versus this list. But alround it looks pretty good. Get the melta on the Sergeant for those 10 points. But I do worry about 10 4+ save models being your army choices. Those preds are awesome against some armies but aren't difficult to kill with fast assault armies...
