I'm getting 5 rhinos for my CMS and I'm wondering if I should get the forgeworld.com rhino doors and from plate or not. The army has not been modeled yet but I have 50 CSM marines waiting to be made, 20 of which will be converted into chosen. I am making a Word Bearers Army with a dark apostle at it's head but. I was also thinking about getting some cults in the fray(Nurgle, Tzeentch, Khorn and Slaanesh; with no more than one unit to each god and in corresponding sacred number). But the cults are not as big an issue as what rhino set would I get for the army ? I personally do not like the look of the Word Bearer doors because they do not look like a chaos undivided as much as they do Khorn-like. So:

I love the custom doors sets off of ForgeWorld. I ordered a set of Salamander doors for my Rhino/Razorback and they look fantastic.

Honestly, just pick the door set that you like best. I think the Word Bearers doors look great, and they'd fit with the army if the rest are modelled/painted as Word Bearers. Otherwise you could always get some Chaos Undivided doors.

I'd go with Word Bearer sets or the undivided sets. which ever you like the looks of more.

If you've got the scratch, go for it. They're a beautiful way to make your army look distinctive.

If you want to make a very characterful and eye-catching army the Rhino doors are a fast and easy way to accomplish this. They look so much better than the bland Rhino doors.

If you've got a Word Bearers army, then I'd suggest going with those. However, in terms of aesthetics, the Word Bearer plates are not my favorite (Thousand Sons, Alpha Legion, Emperor's Children are my top 3).

I agree with you about the looks of those doors. I plan on getting the slaanesh and tzeentch set for the cults I will eventually get. I was thinking about getting this set for the chosen. http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/Warhammer-40000/CHAOS-RHINO-UPGRADE-KIT.html. I feel they will give the chosen rhinos a lot of character.

I like the FW extra Chaos armour.
Chapterhouse Studio makes other nice Heresy like Rhino conversion kits, Ramshackle another Rhino alternative for Chaos.

I bought a set of Space Wolf rhino doors. Crappy FW resin aside, they really help make the vehicles look distinct on the table top.

Just beware that they might come a little warped and (in my case) chipped and a few pin holes. Luckily I have much experience repairing resin.
