Why is it that Grey Knight Terminators are allowed to have Frag and Krak Grenades when Terminators from the Blood Angels, Dark Angels, Black Templar, Space Wolves, and Vanilla Marines Codex are not able to have them?

Cause Grey Knight Terminators are the elite of the elite of the elite of the elite and so on and so forth.

Fluff-wise it's the fact that the wrist-mounted stormbolter gives them a free hand to throw them with.

Because it shows just how much more awesome they are.

Its because the GK terminators are hoarding all the Frag and Krak to themselves. the other chapters could only scrape enough together for the PA dudes. the TDA guys couldn't shuffel towards the bins fast enough to get the nades before they ran out.



Real reason: the GK codex is the newest. there was quite a stirr when the Vanilla codex gave Tactical marines the grenades for free(previously it was 1pt per model for Frag and 2pts for krak)

That, and most other terminators come standard with weapons that strike last in close combat anyway, and do more damage to vehicles...

On a similar note, I'm convinced that the reason that Mk VIII armour is so rare is that the Black Templars are hogging them all. Seriously, look at the upgrade sprue!
