What 2k army has the absolute fewest model count?

Don't care what army it is, just need to know what army might have the fewest models. Does that nidzilla list still exist? I remember some list had 9 models and another list had 12....One was chaos I think....anyway, thoughts?

How effective are you looking for or just the absolute smallest?

Draigo wing is only 19-22 models IIRC

Grey knights.

There are good 2k lists out there with 23 models (plus servo skulls).

There are bad GK lists out there with as few as a half dozen.

Eldar super duper wraith wing can make around 38 models in 2000 points.

Of course since wraithguard cost an arm and a leg you actually won't save any money and you will still outnumber GK...

Space wolf can do it in 19 models I think

4HQ 1 Unique character 14 wolf guard with a few MOW and thunder hammer and storm shield and cyclone missiles.

It's legal (space wolf can have 4 HQs) but not very competitive you can do the same with deathwing but cheaper.

Paladin list can do the same I think 23 like everyone said

I do have a sanguinary guard army that is 1750 points for 19 models but it can be made into 2000 just by putting death masks on everyone 25 points each masks.

Also it have 2 libby dread and dante and sanguinor.

But it's more fun then competitive. E.g GK will steam roll through the list because I have no invl save in combat.

Space wolf army I have is also 1750 with 18 models same but it's also a bit of fun.

Real competitive armies are paladins GK and deathwing DA which all have low model count.

Which are competitive meganob orks too but not as good as GK paladin but cool

If you wanted a bad list youcould do it with Nids

2 flyrants tooled out 600
1 Harpy 200
6 warriors tooled out 300
3 tyrano fex with options 900

I'm not familiar enough with GK to try a paladin list, but I don't think they can get above 200 points per model average (which is what you need to beat Nids)

It's been beat already, but I've played a couple games with my Draigowing list that is simply two squads of ten diversified and kitted out paladins, along with Draigo and a Librarian.

I think it will be hard to beat the tyranid list posted above.

If you're not worried too much about competitiveness, you can get a Nob Biker list of around 12 models pretty easily- 2 Biker warbosses, kitted out, and 2 squads of 10 Nob bikers- it's actually stupid easy to get a Nob to cost over 100 points with useful upgrades.

GK can get 7 non-vehicle models by taking 3 DKs with all the upgrades, a grand master with all the upgrades (who gets to like 435 points, lol), and then take draigo and 2 fully upgraded 200 point paladins.

It would be a really bad army, but there ya go.

The great thing is you have every named Space Wolf character who can fit in a vehicle driving around with a bunch of Blood Claws, hilarity ensues.
Normally, this is an 1850 list, so the other two wolf guard wouldn't even get upgrades, the Blood Claws would only get the Power Fist, and the Razorback wouldn't even exist.

Well, a Draigowing with 2x10 Paladins led by Draigo and a Librarian comes down to 1750 pts. Add some upgrades like Apothecary and banner brings, and a Tech Marine brings the army to 2000 pts. So its 23 models.
