so yes, I used to use only khorne and stay fluff for a long time already. I'm getting sick of the army and trying to add some spice into it. So I came up with this list, don't know how it will do, but should be fun to play and semi competitive. Any feedback welcome.

I've most often seen Plague marines used in conjunction with bezerkers, not TS, but having said that their principal role is the same. Id be curious to see how they hold in comparison. My assumption is that the thousand sons are the objective sitters or midfield block , whilst the defilers and 'zerkers rush forward to seize objectives, or just skulls.

Well, looks like a interesting list. I know alot of folk who leave the Reaper on it, so after you have played some you can decide if you want it or not. Otherwise since you have 5 units rushing at them (Zerkers, Defilers, DP) they will have a harder choice to get them all.
I guess the only other suggestion I have is drop two 1kSons for a Havoc Launcher on the 1kSon Rhino and 2 Combi-Meltas on the Zerker's Rhinos. Should give you 11pts extra, but there isn't much for you to spend it on. Guess you can throw it away on two Melta bombs... one on the Sorc might be useful, but the 2nd on a Skull champ seems kinda worthless.

I am hoping that TS would do their job and make their point back. I doubt they would do better than the zerker squad, but yeh, trying to add some shooting element into the army.
I would try a few games and see how they do. If not so well I would change back to the ol' zerker squad which should work well in this army list also and yes, I would have a few point to add some fire power into rhino like BikTom suggested.

I think ur biggest problem will be with big MC heavy armies- ur TS wont be able to get through the T6 reliably and your oblits really dont have the shots to get all the wounds down. Good luck tho Automatically Appended Next Post: Also to add something positive- any meq lists are in trouble since you can pop mech easily and make the 3+ pay

Fully wise its pretty bad (I don't know if you care at all about fluff). Otherwise is will hold its own in friendly games, assuming your friends aren't TFG. Couple things to point out...
1.) Defilers are WAY better at range than CC. Their low WS and low Init makes a lot of things eat them, its especially bad if you have GK around as their are considered Daemons.
2.) Thousands sons, while fun almost never earn their points back. The sorc makes them way over priced, but a good tactic is to have this unit mop up MEQ with AP3 bolter fire.
3.) Plague Marines hold objectives and even eat standard MEQ in CC better than TS. Keep them in cover and they are far more rotund as their 3+ with FNP and a 4+ cover save makes a squad almost impossible to shoot off the table.
