I somehow convinced my friend to start 40k, and after like 2 seconds he was going like "OMG look at those awsome tanks of the IG!" So he decided to play adn start of with a 1500 list. (he already knows the basics and has played orks for a while from assault on black beach set)

This is not a very competitive list.

If he is not doing balls to the walls mech guard, drop the Chimeras. Either that and go all Chimeras, as that is really the choice with them. They do not stand up that great to fire. Either that or you use a few of them as LoS blockers to Artillery (that he doesn't have). They are 55pts a pop that could be spent upgrading the list you have.

Drop the close combat weapons in the CCS and PCS. Here is the lists of problems with the set up. You can't assault from a Chimera unless it doesn't move. Your in a 5 man squad. Your close combat stats are all 3s, expect now Init for the Fist so your going last and will not live long enough to use it. It is only Str 6, where a melta gun is Str 8 and a Plasma gun is Str 7... and you get 4 of them.

Your power weapon blob has no Commissar, no special weapons, no melta bombs. You lose 25% of the squad and they will run away. Because when 8 guys die, your only chance on your morale check is rolling snake eyes.

Drop the fists from the Vets, see CCS above, minus the 5 man squad part and 3 instead of 4 special weapons. Fill in your last special weapon. The debate on the Chimeras is in the air for your list.

3 different LRBTs in a sqaudron is not a good idea. I do not like Squadroning LRBTs to begin with. They all have to shoot at 1 target, and you have to spread hits out amongst the squad so all three could be taken out in one volley. I hope you both understand LRBTs are anti-infantry except for the Vanquisher. Your list has no long range AT in it what-so-ever.

You do not need more than 2 hydras.

Here is an example of a probably more competitive list, a gunline/power blob hybred list. If anything, I hope this gives you a guideline for making your own list.

Gives you 2 power blobs that can follow up the LRBTs. Have Creed's Chimera follow up the blobs using the LRBTs to give the blob and the Chimera cover. They in turn protect the rears of the LRBTs.
This list otherwise gives you 4 LC shots from 2 different sources that can be Twin Linked, 10 AC shots from 2 sources that can be Twin Linked, 4 Snipers, 8 melta guns and 3 plasma guns. Creed can issue 4 orders per turn at a 24" range and can issue a special order ('For Cadia!') to make the blobs nastier in CC on the Charge. The Lord Commissar with his Aura of Discipline keeps the HWSs from running and LD 10 for Orders. You can even keep the Vets within 6" of him for a Ld boost.

My suggestion is stop starting a million threads and bumping your own threads when nobody responds.

This is called a learning progress unbeleiver, with questions being asked every game and new ideas to better suit my play style. i'v seen a lot of people which have created more than 100 topics and ive only created around 30.

Like I said in one of your other threads; play more, start less threads. I refuse to believe that in the two months you have been posting here you've been able to adequately play test over 25 different lists.

It's great that you're excited about the game and want to learn, but starting a new thread every time a new permutation of your list comes to mind isn't necessary.

Well, my threads doesn't necessarily mean my army lists. it could have been my friends, schoolmates...
