Hi Guys,

Just after a bit of advice. I have been reading the horus heresy books and enjoying them immensely! I have just finished tales of heresy, which was pretty damn uber. My question is, i have got the book nemesis, whihc is two after tales of heresy. I dont really have access to the other two as my mates reading them. If I read nemesis, am i going to be missing out bits that were mentioned in fallen angles and thousand sons, or are they seperate entities, as have been with other book?

Thanks in advance guys.

Cheers

Nothing that's going to ruin anything for you if I recall. Nemesis is a pretty stand alone story of the series and one of my favorites.

No pity, no remorse, no shoes

Would it be recommended to read Horus Rising first before any other book in the HH Series?

Your honor is your life, let non dispute it!

Yes viersche, most defiantly, not only does it set up the story but it is one of the sickest books in the series.

Cheers Pilau, much appreciated.

You have to read the first 5 in order but after that you can pretty much read how you like.

And heaven forbid if the Marine would also happen to have an intimidating looking, vertical scar. Then you're surly boned. Those guys are the worst. Not a chance I'd say.

Yes, exactly as vodo says the first 5.

Ok, bit of a odd one, but has anyone read Mechanicum? Insanely good book, defiantly top 3 for me, but my question is, there is an assassin in that who works for a guy (trying not to do spoliers) who walks around on jets on her feet and is generally quite hard.

Does anyone have an idea of what she looked like as i had a real hard time imagining her. Which is odd as everthing else was so well depicted.

Just a thought.
