I making a new space wolves army for collection and for competition. My grand idea is to try and base the army as close to the stories as possible. So i wont be using tanks en mass.
Here's what I've got so far and will be getting soon followed by an idea of a competition list.

HQ:

Logan Grimnar
Njal Stormcaller
Lukas the Trickster
Ragnar Blackmane

Rune Priest
Wolf Priest in terminator armor

Troops/Elites:

Wolf Guard Terminators (x10; 9 with storm bolters and variations of CC weapons, two will have assault cannons and varied CC weapons)
Blood Claws (x10)

Elites:

Space Wolf Dreadnought (Iron Clad ?)
Space Wolf Venerable Dreadnought (Forge-world variation; converted to resemble Bjorn the Fell handed; Plasma cannon and CC weapon)

Ive not yet purchased a devastator squad but will soon to make a 5 man long fang unit but otherwise this is it for the time being.

For the competition I've planned on:

HQ:

Logan Grimnar
Njal Storm Caller

Troops:

Space Wolf Terminators (Logan Grimnar; Terminator weaponry varies but all aside from two will have storm bolters)
Blood Claws (Lukas the Trickster)

Elite:

Space Wolf Dreadnought (Iron Clad Variation)

Note: I will use drop pods for the Terminators, and the Dreadnought. Njal and the Blood Claws I suppose will be on the board at the beginning either on foot or in a Rhino. Ill later have a Crusader to add much needed support. Otherwise i think that will be all to my SW army.

Thoughts and suggestions would be appreciated as I'm new to using the wolves though really getting into their story.
