Hey Boyz!
Just finished this guy over the weekend and thought I'd let you all have a spy, the idea was to create from bitz, a Company Master or such like for the Angels of Vengeance:
With that in mind I wanted him to be quite powerful looking, like a miniature dreadnought and wield a mighty 2 handed hammer, at the same time I also wanted him to be wearing the signature robes of the Dark Angels but in red as I feel this best reflects the AoV iconography. This posed the question, how to make robed marine in terminator armour with fairly average greenstuffing skills?
Well I think I succeeded fairly well, without further ado I'll let you see him!

Love him, I'm honestly surprised that the Terminator torso doesn't look too large on the DA Vet legs. I think my only gripe is the rather frail looking Thunder Hammer he's carrying, it could be bulked up a little more. Other than that, he's an excellent model!

Very nicely done, what kit is that Thunderhammer from?
I'm working on some HammerVets and I grabbed a couple hammers from the BA Death Company kits off of bitz sites.
I know there is also a one-handed one in the Grey Knight Terminator kit and a 2-handed one in the GKSS kit.

The hammer is actually the psychic staff that comes from the Grey Knight terminator squad, however I exchanged the arms and hands for
the 'Terminator holding Halberd 2 handed' option, I then removed the the spikey halo around the skull head and replaced it with a green stuff hood.
The hammer head itself in the back end is a rectangularish piece of sprue, and the head itself is a stormbolter ammo box with 2 wings attached to either side.

Yep, they are from the Dark Angel Veteran upgrade kit, however they have been modified so that the height of them is identical to
a regular terminator (hes slightly taller than a GK terminator infact).
