Looking for help identifying a plastic model + help on where to buy them!
Model in question:
Currently on auction from "mrs-velard" on eBay, but only 12 available.
See auction link here for more pictures:

I'd like to get about 20 to 25 of these figures - can anyone help me out in identifying them and locating a place to purchase them?
Thanks!

It seems this is a hard model to track down. I had a look for it on a few websites.
Given from the ebay page I searched the Infinity sections to no avail sadly.
Now I want some of the Infinity stuff haha.

Erm ... AFAIK this IS the only source for these Russian made SciFi models outside Russia. Either Zvezda ( http://www.zvezda.org.ru/zvezdnij-desant/8406/ ) or something similar.
Be aware that those models are a head taller than Space Marines though:
Zvezda makes this interesting model BTW:

Russian sites - cannot read AND they scare me, especially in terms of "Hey, here's my credit card number!"

I know - that is why I want them! They will make a good 'base' from which to build some "True Scale" Marine scouts.

That IS a cool model - but again... I am afraid to buy from that site!
Thanks Kroot - I'll have to keep looking for a place to buy these from!

I have ordered from the Velards multiple times without any problems (see my tervigon), and ebay feedback for them isn't bad either. And you could ask them to buy one Russian Stargate as well and include it in the deal.

The base is similar to the ones that the "Robogear" footsoldiers have (included in the Robogear starter boxes). I've got about 30 of the lighter armoured troopers from Robogear in a bits box. These guys: Slightly better shot of the light infantry guys.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.
That is not dead which can eternal lie ...
... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

I've asked 'Velards' if they can get me a few more sets, we'll see what they say...

Interesting!
I'll search based on that as well...

Ooh, I'll be interested to see how this comes out. I've got a bunch of the robogear mechs, but I got them all through a USA seller who probably bought out alot of old stock from IMEX.
The figures are pretty tall. I had a bunch of the figs in chromedog's pics, but sold them because of the size difference. Interestingly, the heads and torsos are of comparable size to GW, so you could use them for stormtrooper conversions. It's the legs and waist that make the figure to tall for 40k.
I'm not entirely sure about the seller though. Is it possible that their forgeworld stuff is not entirely legit, or am I just being overly suspicious?
Here's another dealer selling the terrain set that the figures come in, bundled with another vehicle.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/ROBOGEAR-Hunter-Starship-Troopers-Action-Models-1-48-Scale-Plastic-NEW-/300602491529?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item45fd4e0289
As far as I know, this terrain kit is the only set I've seen containing the figures in the OP. The dealer the OP references is buying the terrain set and selling the terrain and figures separately.
