Subject: How do I tell more easily which Warlock has which power?

So I'm getting back in an Eldar mood. Already got my list together. It has four Warlocks in a bodyguard, with witchblades, but one with Enhance, one with Embolden, and two with Destructor.
The problem I'm running into is one I've faced when I played with my Eldar in the past. I can never remember which Warlock has which power, apart from the one I used in the past which had a singing spear.
However, now they all have the same equipment, so which has which power will only be discernable via the models, as I'm planning to get a pair of identical Warlock models to use as Destructor Warlocks. But my memory for such things is terrible. I'd be able to tell the Destructor ones apart, but the other two, I'd never be able to remember, and I don't have the points for a singing spear - the list is at 1499 out of 1500 - and I don't really want to drop anything. While the whole unit's alive, it's not an issue - I have both buffs and two identical ones with Destructor. But when they start to die, it becomes harder to remember which I've given which power, with no significant wargear changes to remind me.
One solution I considered was making a note on paper of which warlocks had died, perhaps by using pencil on my roster to cross out the dead ones.
Are there any other solutions I haven't considered?

You could always paint an eldar rune on their helms, and list each power on your list with the rune beside them? Or runes on cloaks, different glow effects on their spears/witchblades?

I just paint the more powerful Warlocks more elaborately.

I would recommend painting them differently, or jotting down on your army list something like "the one with his sword in the air has embolden, while the one pointing has enhance". Just my 2 cents.

I had a smiliar problem many moons ago when I still had the patience to play the Eldar.
I associated a color with the warlocks power and painted my Miniatures accordingly.

I'd say pretty much this. Give them the normal Craftworld colors, but then also a unique third color for each one. I saw someone do it with some Tau commanders, and it was quite glorious.

:: nods to all :: So far I'm hearing that it's painting time. Might not be a bad idea, to paint their trim a different color and make a note of which color means which power.
And should I choose to take them with Guardians for some reason in the future, it wouldn't be an issue, as in those situations I give my Warlocks Conceal anyways.
Thanks for the tips guys. ^_^ Painting didn't occur to me because I don't typically paint my miniatures - because I don't particularly enjoy painting, rather than laziness or anything like that - unless the urge strikes me. Kinda like it's starting to right now... Time to break out the primer! : D

Well, RT fluff, locks and seers could be painted any colours, so go old style if you're painting them and it will also give you a break from craftworld colours in addition to aspects in the army

:: noddles :: Would be more visible. ^_^
I think the rest of my current list is entirely composed of Aspect Warriors. No transports, no War Walkers, no Wraithlords, no Guardians, no Wraithguard, no Harlequins, no Falcons or Fire Prisms or Support Weapons.
Although I do have some Guardians, Wave Serpents, War Walkers, and an unbuilt Wraithlord, in my possession. And the most work I've done on those particular models is priming the Wave Serpents.
I haven't really decided on a Craftworld yet, either. I may go with a custom color scheme for my Eldar. Edit: Or perhaps Altansar. Their color scheme is like the one I was thinking of using, and their background suits it fine. ^_^

This is why all of my warlocks with blade and pistol all look different.
And why the spear carriers are also different.
I have one of each of them (all). Makes it easier to keep track of them all.

Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.
