Well my background story for the Poisoned Orks is irrelevant to this particular subsection of the Forum.
So anyway I'm painting Poisoned Orks and have hit a dead end. Cataract style eyes, so Glossed over and fuzzy.
I've tried Skull white and Devlan mud followed by Gloss but it doesn't give depth as well as I would like and makes the eye very apparent which detracts from the other details.
So I was pondering Bleached bone then Skull white then Devlan mud then Gloss or getting rid of the Devlan mud step. Does that sound ok?
Anyway, I also come here for diseased clothing/cloth.
As seen on the Ganesworkshop site the Plague marines Captains Loin cloth is the kind of affect I'm looking for and am wondering how too achieve that.
And finally I would Imagine veins coursing with poison would be apparent on the Ork, not sure if that would be overkill or not? But only on the Wrist since that makes sense in my mind or somewhere else perhaps? I was thinking Purple or Blue.
Anyway feedback and help is much appreciated
One last thing the Forgeworld rust looks good yet I don't think I'm making the best use of it and I'm not achieving the depth I want too convey. Anyway help is much appreciated
