Long Fangs can split their fire. I know in previous editions you had to declare the targets for both sections at the same time.

Is the same true now?

.Only a fool believes there is such a thing as price gouging. Things have value determined by the creator or merchant. If you don't agree with that value, you are free not to purchase.

Have to declare all shooting with a squad at once. Page 16, Which Models can fire.

I thought as much. I'm seeing a lot of sketchy things with Long Fangs. For example....two assault units are closing, as well as landspeeder with a multi melta. Afraid it will pop a rhino and allow the assault units to attack the contents...the Long Fang player announces he will fire 3 missiles at the speeder. They miss. He now announces the other 4 shots at the speeder.

Or, 2 speeders have moved up, with 2 potential targets, a land raider and a rhino. He tries to kill the one near the raider and misses, and then instead of the planned ( unannounced) shots at the other speeder, tries to fire at the one over by the raider again.

Assuming all of these long fangs are in the same unit, both of these examples are violating the shooting rules:

"all of the models in the unit fire at the same time." BGB p. 16

That means all of the unit's targets must have been declared before any shots are taken, and all of the shots from the unit are resolved at once.

Hope this helps!

I hate hearing about these types of things coming from other Space Wolf players. For example, I had to set a fellow Wolves player straight when it came to a rune priest with Living Lightning attached to his Long Fangs and declaring targets as well.
