It came up that someone was saying today that if a skimmer moves flat out during its owners turn, and is shot at during the next players turn, that an immobilized result no longer will wreck the skimmer (it will just be immobilized). They were say it was errated, but I cannot locate the rule.

Is a fast skimmer that moved flat out during its previous movement phase a wreck if someone immobilizes it during shooting?

Its a wreck. The guy was confusing the fact that passengers are destroyed on your turn, but may disembark as normal on the enemy turn.

Turn is defined:

The Turn
Q: What is meant when the term ‘turn’ is used? (p9)
A: Whenever the word turn is used it means player
turn. Otherwise it will clearly state game turn. In a
complete game turn both players get a player turn.
Hence one game turn will comprise two player turns

Staying on target.....

Unless it has some form of equipment, such as landing gear, or some other rule that deems it merely immobilised the skimmer will always be wrecked on an immobilized result

I'm not sure if your talking about a special case or something WRT to moving flatout, but if the skimmer didn't move flatout in it's last turn then "it suffers an immobilized result as normal." Pg. 71

Q: If a transport vehicle is destroyed in the same turn as
it moved flat out what happens to any embarked
models? (p70)
A: They are removed as casualties.

That is all that was given in the FAQ that I think he was referencing. Now should you shoot down a vehicle that turbo boosted the previous turn, then they guys would hop out as normal (pinning, damage for explodes, etc). If you go flat out and get imobilised on either your turn or your opponents then it is treated as a destroyed wrecked.

BT uses the Codex Astartes as toilet paper. They’re an Imp Fist successor, recruit from multiple planets, and are known to be the largest Chapter in the galaxy. They’re basically an entire chapter of Chaplains. CC lunatics. What every Space Marine should aspire to be, if not trapped in a Matt Ward nightmare.
