This model is pictured on the GW website alongside some sort of notice about payment difficulties. I tried calling them, but all I got was a recording saying that the number is no longer in service. Could it be one of their stealth new model announcements?

I saw that a while back. I think its just the image they use when there is some sort of problem with the website.

Its an old out of print Ork, in 5th ed its a mek. Which means they are currently working on something.

Must not have been on their product list for very long, I've never seen it before. Not a very useful selection of wargear.

Yup, its a Spanna Boy.

They are in an IA book as a troops choice(basically a Boy mob with Mek's tools)

It is a Gorkamorka spanner boy released in the mid 90s. It is still available on the GW web site under the collector's models for $13.25.

From memory it was initially sold for Gorkamorka, and then re-packaged as a 40K Mekboy in 3rd edition.

Because the model is listed under collectors, as there is no option for a Mekboy in the current codex, except as an upgrade to Lootas/Burnas, which has a plastic one included in the kit.
