Do they have that same rule as space marines where 1 drop pod can come in on turn 1 automatically? I am stuck at work, and far far away from the nearest codex (that my kid probably has hidden somewhere....)

I believe all of the drop pods have the Drop pod assault rule which is actually that half of them rounded up come in turn one, not just 1 of them.

Space Wolves have the same Drop Pod Assault rule that regular Space Marine players get (half of your pods, rounding up, come down on turn 1). See p47 of the SW codex.

I know there is a SM army or two that don't have this rule. I believe it's DA and BT.

Dark Angels do not, though they did errata us to have BS 4 . . ., Deathwing company does however have Deathwing Assault which works exactly like Drop Pod Assault but with Terminators teleporting in.

I can't speek of Black Templars.

Templars have the "old" Drop Pod Assault, thus no "auto-drop" of half of the pod's first turn.

For thirteen years I had a dog with fur the darkest black. For thirteen years he was my friend, oh how I want him back.
