question: is it possible to have my biker warboss in a unit with nobs that arent on bikes? and where does it state that i can/not?

There is no restriction in the IC rules against joining a different 'type' of unit (other than vehicles). So yes, an IC on a bike can join a walking unit.

You can, since the warboss is an IC.

He can join any unit, except for a unit of vehicles, or units that only ever consist of one model.

It is possible - the reason being the IC rules give him permission to join a unit and the only listed restrictions are a)vehicles and b) units that are always one model, like a Wraithlord.

Doing it is bad though... he gets slow and the unit can't run. Waste of your Waagh!

Yeah, it's certainly legal, but removes most of the point of having him on a bike in the first place, since he's restricted to 6" movement while he's with the unit.

i know the strategic uselessness of doing it, i just wanted to prove a point to a friend who is so headstrong he cant even see when hes wrong, so thank yall for the help
