Hey there dakka, did a search and couldn't find anything for the new WGF heavy weapons troopers.

Just got my order in yesterday, and started to work on them, and thought I'd give a small review of the product.

The sprues themselves are set up quite nicely, with one box having three large bases (though not the same type as the GW 60mm ones). It has three sprues for heavy weapons, and one sprue for "officers" which is quite nice as the first shock troops were missing any HQ type model altogether.

The sculpts are quite nice, the pieces are molded in such a way that you wont lose much, or any of the details in removing from the sprue.

The only problems I have with the kit, are the lack of instructions and the complexity of a couple of pieces. The "ammo box" for the "heavy energy cannon" comes in 5 pieces, not including the power cable.


All in all, this kit is quite the nice addition to my guard army, and should easily stand in as the GW heavy weapon squads.
