Hey,

A little shameless self promotion going on here; check out my band TheRisen on facebook, we've got some rough videos up of a couple of our songs.

Just to point out that they were recorded with just a digital camera and you can't make out the vocals too well on 'The Discovery' though we will improve on this when we get in to the studio. The song 'Untitled' was written, practiced and recorded in 2 hours on Wednesday night too, so this will be touched up and vocals added in the next week or so.

Like it if you like it - thanks

Had trouble hearing vocals with the sample I heard. I can't tell if you're screamo or you sound like rage against the machine.

Still, looks like you've got a band together. That's farther than most get. Roll with it.

Yeah we just had a digital camera doing the recording, picked up everything but the vocals, but then we were using a rental pa system that screams if you put it past the first notch, get what you pay for!

The vocals are out and out screaming, though the left hand guitarist will be adding melodies at some point.

Were definitely in for the long run, played in other bands together before, though we have a better bassist now so will be much tighter than previous incarnations. Think we've done pretty well so far given that we've only had a handful of practices.

Cheers for checking it out man

Agreed, it was pretty much impossible to hear the vocals. The band sounded pretty decent though

Cheers man, much appreciated. We'll definitely be doing another recording in the next week or so, and will experiment with speaker placement for better vocal volume.

Thanks for checking it out man

Hey not a problem, I check all the DAKKA bands out. Sometimes they are really good, and I listen to them often, other times.... I make it about 30 secs in. But music is music, and personally, weather its good or bad, I think its good to go out and do it

Cool man, so were we a 30 second listen, or did you make it further? Wouldn't be offended by your answer

Music sounds tight.

Get a new singer. Someone who can actually sing. The music deserves better. I almost feel like the phone did you guys a favor by muting him out from what i could make out...

@ CTG - Our vocalist is damn good (I realise that scream vocals aren't too everyone's taste, my own included). We do have melodic vocals coming from the lead guitarist too which will add more depth to that particular part of the song. Thanks for checking it out buddy, and thanks for your feedback.

@ Kingcracker - thanks for that buddy, I'll take that as a massive compliment
