No, once the opponent starts his turn (whether it is the first turn or not), it is a new turn so any "turn" reference that has been made previously is no longer applicable.

EDIT: so infantry get to live, and vendetta dies on an immobilized.

Just to clarify

Player B; Scout moves Vendetta

Player A;(who has first turn) shoots down vendetta or something similar

The vendetta has not moved flat out this "turn" so the troops are not destroyed

No, it lasts til the end of the opponents turn, as stated in the BRB

That would be fairly useless.

No, it states it lasts until the end of the opponents next shooting phase

Ok so on the basis of that I can assault a flyer/ fast skimmer that moved flat out in his player turn then in my player turn hit automatically

I know this is wrong but surely all effect of movement carry on from his player turn to mine ?

The only effect that does not carry over into the other players turn is the passengers dying part.

Know thy self. Everything follows this.

So how does a flyer that moved flat out get destroyed ?

#1 there are no such things as flyers in regular 40k. Flyer rules are for Apoc only.

#2 If you move flat out with a fast skimmer, and it is immobilized on your turn it is wrecked and the passengers are killed. This is usually due to a failed difficult terrain test, or a friendly blast marker that scatters onto the Skimmer, it can also happen when ramming.

#3 If you move flat out with a fast skimmer, and it is immobilized on your opponents turn, the vehicle is wrecked, but the passengers disembark as normal.
