Ok, how does this list sound? Is it competetive enough for a tourney?

Should I drop the Termies and LRC for more shooty?

IMO At Least 1 squad of 5x Termies with 2x CML is a must in any BT army, only way you can get them though is by dropping the beastly CC terminators in the LRC

If you drop the CC termies and their transport, the predator and one typhoon speeder you can get 2x 5 termies with 2 CML and tank hunters. You can also trade all Rhinos for Razorbacks with Lascannons and smoke

Would this be better? I am not really feeling comfortable about such a deathstar at these points.

Good against both mech and horde armies. you also have a lot of intimidating units that your opponent will target instead of your scoring units. i would go for it

Would multi-metas work better in the crusader squads?

I would say no. They are ranged support and probably won't be getting too close for the melta usage.

I would try and fit Tank Hunter onto that vendread though. It's worth the 10 points for TL S10 lascannons against tanks.

A lot easier to kill Leman Russes and Land Raiders that way

Only go in one direction if you want "competitive". If you want to move up and Assault, dedicate your army to it. One LrC moving forward can be countered, it needs to be supported with Vindicators or other close range oriented Templar.

Nice list, but I would advise dropping a speeder and giving each squad 2 Neophytes(5 mans can really be abused when holding objectives) and making the Ven Dread a Tank Hunter(don't bother with Ven unless doing so).

I agree with everyone else.

One point is that I think you need the assault termies in tournaments. Just need a single cc threat to get you out of bother. If you put your assault squad into a plain landraider then it could sit back and take part of the shooting and deliver the termies only when needed. I know this a lot of points to waste and it will not want to go forward on its own. Maybe the suggested shooty termies can fulfil the cc protection role.
