Entering my first tournament soon, and based on the models I have access to which are painted to a reasonable level, I have written the list I'm planning to use. What do ye think?

HQ:
Swarmlord with 1 Tyrant Guard - 340

Elite:
Hive Guard x 3 - 150
Hive Guard x 3 - 150
Doom of Malan'Tai with Spore - 130

Troop:
Termagants x 12 - 60
Tervigon with Scything talons, Toxin Sacs, AG, Catalyst - 200
Genestealers x 10 - 140

Fast Attack:
Gargoyles x 15 - 90

Heavy Support:
Trygon with AG - 210

1750 Total.

I'd drop 2 hive guard (down to 2 broods of 2) so you can afford toxin sacs on the genestealers.

What i find is people take the max out on Tyrant Guards. Drop some Hive Guard and take more Tyrant Guards. You dont want the swarmlord dying!!!!!

Needs more Synapse. Once the Swarmlord dies you only have DoM - and he's going to pop as soon as he lands (basically). After that you're easy to mop up because you have a lot of IB - Lurk.

I would say drop the 1 squad of steelers and the gargoles and put another trygon in mabye. I'm not to big of a fan of the doom I personally really like the deathleaper. He might work in your list.
