Anyway so I have a tournament coming up in a couple of weeks and I guess I'm just playing off of what I have already painted and ready. I can change a couple of things if there are must have things that I am missing but anyway, here it is:
HQ: 80pts.
Lord Commissar w power sword
Elite: 125pts.
Guardsman Marbo
6 Ratlings
Troop Choice: 670pts.
Platoon Command Squad, 3 Flamers, Heavy Flamer
Chimera with multi laser and heavy flamer
2 Infantry Squads, 2 Lascannons, 2 Power Swords
Veteran Squad w Demolitioners, grenadiers, 3 plasma guns, harker
Veteran Squad, 2 Plasma Guns
Chimera with multi laser and heavy flamer
Heavy Support: 390pts.
Leman Russ Battle Tank, heavy bolters
Leman Russ Battle Tank, heavy bolters, knight commander pask

All around, it's not a bad list, but it's not very competitive. As most people will tell you, having a mix of footsloggers and mech is very difficult to pull off.
I would recommend dropping the infantry platoon in favor of more mech vets, and replacing the plasma with meltas.
Also, I would recommend using a squad of basic scout sentinels for fire support and for additional armor saturation.
Additionally, it is the opinion of many that the grenadiers doctrine costs too much for too little (not that you could take it anyway if Harker was in that squad).
I would drop the LBRT without pask, and sub in two hydras. it will save you 20 points, and you get some nice anti-transport/light tank ability.
With the changes, you can run your lord commissar, marbo, and ratlings exactly as they are.
And have 3 mech melta vet squads:
One with harker and 3 meltas, chimera
One with demo charge and 2 meltas, chimera
And one with 2 meltas, chimera.
And have 3 multi laser scout sentinels with outflank and tarpit abilities,
And two hydras, no upgrades, to sit along side pask in his LRBT without sponsons. Automatically Appended Next Post: If you can post a list of everything you have, we might be able to work it out where you don't empty your bank account.

Ok so here is everything I have:
I have multiple commissars with power swords
3 missile launcher heavy weapons teams
2 auto cannon teams
2 heavy bolter teams
2 lascannon teams
2 chimeras with multi-lasers and heavy flamers
2 LRBT's with heavy bolter sponsons
1 hydra
storm troopers squad
10 ratlings
jarren kell and creed
3 scout sentinels i think, 2 with lascannons and one with a flamer
commissar yarrick
marbo
and around 50 guardsmen, like 6-7 flamers, 4-5 grenade launchers, one with pf, 2 with pw, 3 meltaguns, 3 plasma guns

Hmm...
Ideally, you would have more guardsmen to run a powerblob, but this could still work out fine.
I recommend blobbing the guardsmen into two 25 man squads with the commissars and sergeants with power fists/weapons.
Outflank with the sentinels and deepstrike with the storm troopers to provide a distraction and to help get your powerblobs down the field in decent shape.
Keep your missile launcher and lascannon HWT's in the back and pick off any armor you can.
You might also want to run your PCS's in the chimeras, screening the blobs from the enemy (but not so close that your troops would get hit if the gakking thing exploded). This allows them to hop out and assist, if the chimeras survive that long.
Also, keep in mind that if/when the chimeras get wrecked, your blobs will have to move around them.
I'm not sure how blobs are points-wise, as I never use them, but if you have enough points left over, try and include Marbo and the Hydra.
I'll try and do the math when I get a chance. Hope this helps. Automatically Appended Next Post: Oh, I forgot to mention the LRBT's. you should be able to field at least one of them in the layout above, while having extras for the Hydra and Marbo.

Err... how are you getting 25 guys in a blob? How are you getting fists in the squad? You can only blob Platoon Infantry Squads, not the PCS or any other squads. There is no way to give a Fist to a PIS unless you buy a Lord Commissar. The Normal Commissars can only have power weapons.
Scout Sentinels suck unless your outflanking them and the only weapon worthwhile on them are ACs. Anything that can be taken out by a bolter is questionable. There are better ways to get BS 3 firepower out there that doesn't take away slots from Vendettas. Also Zro, Harker can not have Grenaiders anyways. If your going to give him one, just give him Demolitions. Since he gives his unit Scout, he does the best part of Sentries.

It is not WYSIWYG because your short certain weapons (special and heavy), so see if it has to be or not. Not a fan of sponsosn on LRBTs because you can only fire one weapon plus the turret when you move due to Lumbering Behemoth. And a LRBT that doesn't move is a dead LRBT. Put the CCS up as far as you can in the middle of your set up field (in cover) to give Creed the most are to cover with that 24"s. Put the HWSs together with the Lord Commissar (at least 6" apart for the Lord's Aura of Discipline) in cover. You can add him to a unit to make it stubborn, but be wary of Execution for a failed Ld check (Orders, Morale, pinning, ect). This means all of your important troops are Ld 9 or 10 for Orders because of Commissars (besides the PCSs). Now you can issue 'Bring it Down!' or 'For Cadia!' to the blobs for the charge. An option for your PCS is to give them all GLs or Sniper Rifles, but I feel they work better with flamers and can then be used to hold captured objectives after the blob has cleared them. You can also use them as 'skirmishers' to protect the flanks and rear of the blobs or in front to take in fire and give the blobs a cover save if they fire past the PCSs. They are scoring so I think they are to valueable to just throw away like that.

I should have clarified better. Two blobs of twenty, with the PCS hot on their heels. The commissars and officers with fists, and the sergeants with power weapons.
And the sentinels don't take any slots away from the venettas cause he doesnt have any. The list is being built around what he has.
And the lord commissar should be in chimera, not the PCS (I must have been sleeping when I posted the original.)

Sorry I've had a lot of work recently, I got some new stuff and finally built and painted my chimeras so here's what I came up with. I have everything here except 6 meltagun guys, 1 plasma gun guy, and the medusa. Any other advice on how to make this better is well-appreciated. I couldn't find any good anti-tank options since I'm terrible at converting so unless someone has a good vendetta converting/using tactic I think that has to stay off of the list. Thanks very much:
