I have started a lot of projects in the past month and this is one of them. Me and a Friend had decided it would be cool to make a 13th company army for the second round of ard boyz, we wanted it to be fully converted and fully painted so the wow factor would come up. First we had to wait and see if he made it to round 2 of ard boyz. I didnt want to fork out 700$ to build a competitive list and convert it if i didnt have to. He played Guard for round 1 and massacred every round of the tourny and called me at work (the reason I couldn't be playing) to telling me he is picking up stuff for the army form the winnings. the next step was to get a list together and work out the kinks in it so we did this in a week. Once I got the list I was dead set to get this army done, I only had a month but I was pretty confident I could get it done in time. I did it a year before with my daemons army and won best converted army in the GT. Unfortunately i couldn't get it all painted i got it base coated and key models painted. Im rambling on about this because i was planning on posting pictures of a lot of models at this moment, but my camera fried and deleted all but 1 picture so this is now my teaser intro in till a couple days and i get a new camera.

Holy Patoly! These look epic! Always had a problem with tunderwolves, fluff-wise & rules-wise but these ... eye bulging instead of eye rolling! is the paint job finished? i look forward to progress.

Wow!!!!, once your moment of glory has passed, would you mind sharing on how you did this guys? I don't even play wolves but I'd love to include a Lone Wolf fighting with one of my guys.

I had the pleasure of using these beasties in Semis, wound up in 7th place. Had a rd2 major loss to the guy who won out.

The only simple conversion in the entire Army are the las/plas razorbacks. Which is the simple addition of the plasma. All the rest are amazingly done.

I'll wait til he posts up some more pics before going on about the rest. That said though this was a major conversion process and (WHO) did a truly amazing job.

either way you look at it money and points its expensive, Parts include: 4 plastic Daemon Prince 1 metal for the lord, 5 Chaos War Hounds and parts of a Rhino then a lot of Green Stuff work. Im thinking of doing a Diaroma with one of these guys in it and if i end up doing it ill do a step my step tutorial on how I made them and my troops.

First of Thanks for the complement, Second no they are not done being painted I ran out of time for this one before i could fully paint everything to full greatness. but the good news is now i dont have to rush and I can take my time with it and make it even better. This is now my First pick for a GT if I end up going to any in the next couple of Months. With that being said to the Third, Fluff had to be Sacrificed to make this a competitive list. What that means is there is 6 Las/Plaz Razorbacks in the list and in Fluff they didnt have that many Rhinos or Razorbacks.

Now for the future...
I am painting the army thats is the first big thing that will be done. Second I am working "Logan Wing" with the dreaded Logan Bomb I own 10 Termies Right now so im half way there to having the stuff to make this army.
Second is the other project im in right now is the "Kroot Renegade" Army this one is a slow process and will take time to get the 9 Battle Suits and 9 Broadsides (Specially since Broadsides got pulled from the dealers and are going to Finecast) and 90+ Kroot to Convert everything.
Third I need to Finish Daemons The army I got best Converted for is still not finished still need 5 Blood Crushers and finish my BloodThirster and FateWeaver.
Fourth I think Im Painting a Ork Army for JdJamesDean... I don't know this one for sure yet...

The pics of The !3th Company should be up by this weekend.

This post will have to be moved because there will be Unpainted models here and I wouldnt want them to be deleted or me to get warnings. If a MOD could possibly move this into the Blog section I would be Greatful. I would contact a Mod myself i just dont know which mod is for this Section. so if anyone could tell me that i could PM them directly and get it moved as well.

Any mod -should- be willing to help you. Just send one of them a tell, the green names below are mods.

I wish that was easyer then it was, im color blind and it was hard for me to find a green one... hopfully i sent it to the right person... also thanks.
