Hey guys, I want to use a Ork Big Mek with Shokk Attack Gun in my Orks 1500 point list, but i don't want to have to fork out £23.00 on a failcast model (this is my personal opinion about Finecast, please no arguments). Therefore i was thinking of converting one up. Now this is where you guys come in. How can i go about doing this? I have never used green stuff before, but i'm not scared to use it. If any of you have seen or converted the Big Mek please can you post pictures or links for me so i can get some inspiration.

Thanks guys

It's orks , so theres no real set rules to follow so i'd go for what ever you can attain.
If it was me i'd perhaps use some spare guard bits or something .

Look up the old style metal model, and then look at the new one. Find the similarities.

The Lootas/Burnas box comes with a Mek, so you can get some mek style bits from it. And I think that conversion from the Loota looked pretty damn good, and pretty straight forward.

yeah i've seen the old model, it does look quite similar. After i heard of the above loota conversion, i am certainly going to try that. And about the whole idea of them being orks, i am an imperial guard and space marine player, so i'm used to disciplined weapons. but i'm certainly going to convert one up thanks for the feed back
