Oracles:
Are there doubles tourneys? If so are they national / international? What are the rules? Points? Etc? My buddy and I are wanting to reunite and try a tourney in Vegas or some fun place. BFE doesn't count... No offense. Doubles would be even cooler.

The 40k Team tournament at Adepticon is basically where
doubles is at. You have a team of four and your armies are
1000 points each. You pair off with your teammates in different
configurations against other teams.

This takes place outside Chicago in April every year.

Rules aren't up for 2012 yet, but they soon will be.

The Adepticon Team Tourney is probably the biggest and best such event in the world, although that's really a four-man event (two simultaneous doubles games each round). Usually it's not the main focus at a weekend-long event, but doubles tournaments are pretty common at local stores and can be big. Battleground in Massachusetts has had some really big ones, as an example. Let me see if I can find you a link or two...
