There is a race reffered to as the Reek in the Tau codex. Either exterminated or just ran out of the Tau systems. Does anyone know what these looked like?

Well, chances are that GW did the usual thing with "minor" alien races, and didn't bother to flesh them out beyond a quick reference.
So you are left to making it up.

Another one of the mysteries that makes up warhammer 40k
I don't think GW / BL have ever taken the time explain what they look like or released any pictures, try looking through a 40k art book, I think theirs 2 of them, but their might just be one...

Haven't been seen, but they're also mentioned in the 5th Ed Rulebook as being one of the new emerging Alien Empires encroaching onto Imperial Space (along with the Tau, Ulumeathic League, and Draxian Hegemony).

Mystery is often more interesting than revelation. If we didn't know anything about, for instance, the Tau, they might be quite cool. Automatically Appended Next Post: Oh, and something tells me the Reek will be squamous and batrachian. Probably eldritch too.
