Heard thus from the guy who does the GW orders at the FLGS. Apparently now stores only get the prize support for events thatget listed on GW's website. Not sure exactly how that works as it had been a flat quarterly/monthly benefit before.

The only bit of "bad" in it is that In The Past when I had a GW event planned and would send it in the required four months in advance it never seemed to make it into publication. So I don't fault the idea at all in any way, I just hope it works out. That and we/I tend to use the GW support as a terrain fund to flesh out the shelves of terrain in the game room.

I submitted all of the first 6 months of this year's events last November, I never checked to see if they got posted (same thing for when I sent the second 6 months in around March). I don't even know where on their website GW posts them.

I am just getting into organizing tournaments and events for our store. This is good information to have, and varies from what the owner seemed to know about the old way it was done.

Will have to investigate more.

Thanks for the news update.
