Was wondering which paint pots i need for
1 - Faces
I was thinking a flesh colour and then a wash, but which ones are best?
2 - Space Marine Bike video screens
Maybe a green luminous colour?
Thanks in advance

I basecoat the face of a mini with two coats of thinned down Tallarn Flesh and then wash it with Ogryn Flesh to shade the recesses. Then I clean the face up with Tallarn Flesh again and add more and more Cadmium Skin to the Tallarn Flesh to brighten up the high spots. The last highlight is done with a dab of Bleached Bone on the cheeks and nose.
For screens I use a basecoat with Dark Angels Green and freehand the HUD with Scorpion green and Livery Green.
Cheers,
IK-Painter

Thats great thanks, although i'm more of a beginner painter and i struggle to find the time to paint also, so need something a bit more basic.
Would Tallarn Flesh then a wash of Ogryn Flesh suffice?

You should at least basecoat tallarn flesh, wash with ogryn and highlight/clean up with tallarn flesh again...
Just tallarn flesh followed by a wash? Not that great ^^
Personally I basecoat tallarn, wash with ogryn flesh, go back to tallarn flesh, highlight with a 50/50 tallarn/dwarf flesh and from then it all depends on the specifics of how I want that trooper to look
Am I a good painter? Not particularly... is it a complicated technique? Again, not particularly

A nice flesh recipe:
Tallarn flesh followed by ogryn wash
Eyes in bleached bone/white mix
Dot with dark brown (scorched brown works - don't use pure black!)
Tidy up and first highlight with tallarn flesh
Then tallarn/elf flesh
then elf flesh
I do screens with DA green, snot green caustic, goblin green fine caustic, white pure highlight.

Why not black on the eyes?

It makes them look like they're staring, or on PCP.

Good for cultists and followers of chaos then.

So Dark Angels Green for the screen then? Does any other colours work well?
Also i'm wondering which colour to do the headlight. Yellow maybe, but i thought that might look a bit like its turned on.

Here is a pretty awesome tutorial. The purple basecoat gives a unique and realistic effect, and it is pretty easy to pull off.
