Hello all

First off thank you to everyone that came to the previous Slayer in September.

Now unfortuantely to cover the costs of the venue, awards and darcy an entry fee will have to be put on of £5. This will allow us to run on time though, not overrun by an hour and buy better awards and of course have the event in a good venue. Money is to be paid on the night to myself as if given to me earlier I will forget.

It is on Friday the 28th October 6:45ish while 10:30 (Timetable below)
It is being held at the northwest gaming centre. The address can be found by following the link www.northwestgamingcentre.com

The rules are:
600pts max
You must have the standard 1 HQ and two troops.
You can have up to 1 Fast Attack OR Heavy Support
You can have up to 1 Elites
You can have an extra HQ (Space Wolves are still only allowed two)
No Special Characters
You can have up to an extra 4 Troops
No invulnerable saves better than 4+ (modifiers included)
There is no model repping, conversions are allowed so long as you let your opponent know
Models dont have to painted.
Armies are to be selected from in print codexes (Sisters of battle are allowed)

Scoring system:
3pts for a win/ 1pt for a draw/ 0pt for a loss

The Scenarios:
SCENARIO 1: Dawn of War + Capture and Control
SCENARIO 2:Seize Ground + Spearhead
SCENARIO 3: Annihilation + Pitched Battle

The scenarios will be determined before each round

A rough timetable of the event is:

6:30pm - 7:00pm Registration
7:10pm - 7:25pm Draw for game 1 and Set-up Period
7:25pm - 8:10pm Game 1
8:20pm - 8:35pm Draw for game 2 and Set-up Period
8:35pm - 9:20pm Game 2
9:30pm - 9:45pm Draw for game 3 and Set-up Period
9:45pm - 10:25pm Game 3
10:30pm Awards

When dice down is called it means DICE DOWN, not ive had an unequal number of turns so i need another turn. The game stops there mid turn. You may be allowed to finish a combat or a squad shooting if you have already started rolling dice and declared it. This is because it will disrupt the timing like it it did last time and cause the event to overrun by an hour!
