Playing with the idea of BTs again but noticed an army list trend that I don't get. Why do people run 5x initiates with LC/PG in a rhino instead of 5x initiates with bp/ccw in a LC/TLPG RB? The higher cost seems more than worth it when you consider the advantage taken of vows and the ability to move and fire the LC.

That's because BT don't have access to these new/old razorback variations . . .

They only have Heavy Bolter and TL/LC builds.

Ok well how about the TLLC build. Is that not still better?

Our Razorbacks are retardedly expensive(90 for TLLC), we also don't have access to the las/plas pattern. Crusaders are generally pretty crappy at CC even with AAC,have to pay for Frags, Kraks, and they're coming out of a non-assault vehicle.

Unless you're running a massive 16 man Crusader hobo squad with an IC in a LrC, don't bother with bp/ccw.

I just looked up the prices on the transports... Wow are they expensive. That is ridiculous, 50 pts for a bare bones rhino.

I think 90 pts is bargain compared to stripped down rhino or a heavy bolter razorback.

you need 5 initiates and 4 neophytes with BP/CCW and the EC or Marshall in a rhino for it to work. 5 man squads can't do a lot of damage on their own in CC
