I have heard about a new codex coming out for Tau but I haven't heard a release date yet. I think I'm going insane trying to figure it out. Anyone know when it is REALLY due?

No. There is no information at this time. GW has been giving out no information, and every shred of Tau rumor has been completely unverified.
