Learn to Play & Starter League: Warhammer Fantasy

Five Rounds - 2 weeks per round - Play your game any time within the allotted two weeks, working with your opponent to find a date that works well for each other.

Start with a 500 pt army - This must be your ‘core’ force for all five rounds. You may add different elements & upgrades to it each round. I.E. Rd 2 is your 500pt list + 500 points of your choice. Rd 3 is your 500pt list + 750 points of your choice etc. etc.

Round 1 500pts – October 31st - November 13th
Round 2 1000pts – November 14th – November 27th
Round 3 1250 – November 28th - December 11th
Round 4 1500 – December 12th – January 1st ( Extra Week for Holidays)
Round 5 2000 – January 2nd – January 15th
CATCH UP WEEK – January 16th – January 22nd

League pairings will be announced October 1st. There will also be a contact sheet to be distributed that will include names/phone#/email to make it easy for players to schedule their games, as well as using the forum. Each round will have a single forum thread, with all match results being posted on this thread, battle reports are always welcome too

For each game completed, there will be the chance to win stuff! There will be some fun unique prizes, as well as Gift Certificates. It doesn't matter if someone wins or loses, and there is no special prize for the "winner" of the league. This League isn't about competition, but is an awesome excuse for players to get together every two weeks and play a game of Warhammer Fantasy
At the end of each round, each player who played a game during the allotted time for that round will receive one entry into the Round Raffle.

Each player will receive one entry per game they played the entire league (on time or not) into the End-o-League Raffle.

All "tickets" are virtual, and will be taken care of on our end. At the beginning of each new round the winner's for the previous Round Raffle, will be announced. There will be two drawings every round, each awarding a $5 Gift Certificate. For the End-o-League Raffle we will be doing 3 drawings, in the mix will be a $30, $20, and $10 Gift Certificate.
