Rockits for vehicles and MEQ. (Blasta if you also need AP2)
Grotzooka for infantry.

I would agree, except with BS3 they are one of the better shooty unit in Ork codex.

Grotzookas are a fantastic multipurpose choice, while Rokkits are a more specialized choice verses vehicles, MC's, and MEQ's.
I run one of each, personally.

Rokkits!
If you can provide anti vehicle answers elsewhere (rokkit buggies, deffkoptas, tank bustaz even) or are a god at rolling sixes to hit vehicles in melee then the grotzooka is very good. It will tag infantry and can have a go at light transport.
But if you are not that dice god and as you will probably be light on the anti tank missiles are the answer.
In my ideal Kan wall I have 9 KK with missiles, 6 warbuggies with missilies and a deffkopta with missiles. Once the transports are open then it is easy for the boys and the walkers to mop up so grotzookas are not necessary

Grotzooka hasn't a good range. Short range antiinfantry is not really a problem for orks, 90% of the codex. Where as noncc antitank is a problem.

Magnetize your Killa Kanz at all costs and then simply try all arms. If you search the modeling section of dakka, you'll find some good advice on how to do it.
For equipping them competative, rokkits are your best option, followed by grotzookas. If you have points to spare and you're almost sure to face some kind of 2+ armor during your games, KMB might be an option. Avoid big shootaz and skorchas orks are already great at killing weak infantry, no need to waste the precious BS3 on it. Not to mention that the grotzooka does the same thing as them, just better.

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe. |

But they can move and fire so the distance isn't that short at all.
Not to mention they still have Dreadnought CC weapons.

Listen to the folks who tell you to use magnets. Also, never mix and match weapons within the same unit. If you have one grotzooka, one scorcha (need use waste of bs3), and one rokkit each will have different range and you wont be able to use the shots effectively.
