Pretty much the strategy here would be combat squad the paladins and put 5 w/Draigo in the stormraven and the other 5 in the Redeemer. I'd most likely grand strategy for counter assault on the Pally's and a strike squad if I can. I think with the Redeemer and the Stormraven if will give them both more survivability since it's two hard to kill things instead of just one. What do you guys think?

I think you could make this bad boy work...but you'll need to trim some fat to make it scary:

1) Don't forget, Paladins can take 2 Psycannons per 5 men...I would maximize on that before buying Psybolt ammo. Also, squads this large benefit from both the Apothecary and Brotherhood Banner...we'll try and find points for those coming up.

2) Strike squads that cost 300 points? Maybe a little too rich for my taste. Drop the Hunter Killers and Psybolt ammo...both upgrades are kind of there to act as fillers.

3) No real need for the Psybolt Ammo on the Redeemer.

Now, by no means is your list going to make games a walk in the park. If you make the above concessions and do some finagling, you can make the list somewhat threatening.

You probably know that your Land Raider and Stormraven are going to be singled out so no need to go more in depth there. To be honest, I would think 2 Stormravens would serve you better as it would be a faster way of getting across the field and is somewhat more survivable.

I do have Apothecary models and bro banner (or brah banner, as I like to call them) However they're just expensive to take. Unfortunately at this moment I only have 2 psycannon terminators (stupid 1 special weapon sprue) so I'm a bit out of luck there. The only reason I take Hunter/Killers is for the extra Str8 shots to try to take out other transports. And personally, I just love Psybolt Ammo lol, But I understand not taking it on the redeemer.

Yeah, that stupid "1 special weapon per sprue"is rather dumb.

The Hunterkillers are just so...flaky...2 random S8 shots don't really do much, especially at 2000 points.

I would try the list sin all the upgrades and if I'm not mistaken, you should be able to afford the Apothecary (if not drop some Master Crafting and switch weapon loadouts to afford it) and see how it plays.

Would you suggest taking two Apothecaries? Since I'm going to combat squad the Paladins?

You can only take 1 Apothecary if I am not mistaken...the unit that doesn't have Draigo would probably be the one that would take the Apothecary.

Now that I think about it...if you're splitting the units up, an Apothecary may not be a "sure thing"...that'll take some playtesting.

Yeah, I've used apothecaries before and they do a great job of keeping off wounds, however that doesn't matter when it comes to las cannons and melta's. Which is why I've shied away from them in this list.

That might be a bit too expensive there.

4 psycannons would be good in the Paladin Squad, and if you don't have any maybe just convert some or play without them until some later date? I would also take out the hunter-killer missiles and the psybolt ammo. They may be fun, but just aren't needed, those points would be better spent on more psycannons or on the banner.

I would also say to go for two landraiders rather than two stormravens. I don't know how survivable stormravens are. They have some awesome speed and rules, but I've seen them go down pretty fast, while land raiders ALWAYS give people a hard time.

I may be biased as I usually run 2-3 Storm Ravens in my armies with a Librarian; however, I have gone through entire tournaments without losing a single Raven. That really can't be said about Land Raiders as they usually get popped fairly early by either Lascannons or suicide Melta units.

Take in the fact that even if you lost 1 of the Stormravens, because you went Flat Out the previous turn (and that's really the only way to move those birds unless your deploying units for assault), you're already across the field. If a Land Raider gets popped mid field, you're looking at another 12-18" minimum that you need to cover to get in the mix.

Besides, being able to Multi-Melta one tank and then Lascannon another one never hurt anyone.

I do eventually want to run two ravens, but I only have one at the moment. That's why I figured taking a land raider would perhaps distract from the raven. Especially if I reserve the raven.
