Please critique my list for my Mech Veteran and sentinel list

I'm worried about horde control with my list

Then you can ditch the AC on the CCS and give them 3x Plasma guns or 4x melta guns and throw melta bombs or give a Sentinal smoke.

BTW, those armored or Scout Sentinals? Actually listing the total cost of the unit is allowed. Listing the cost for every melta is not.

Your real concern should be you have no long range AT, so at best your opponent has only 1 round of free shooting, at worse 3 rounds. Think your list can last that long?

you're right about the lack of long ranged AT,

I'm drop 1 sentinel per squad and the autocannon on the CCS to add a Leman Russ or give each squad a lascannon team or a russ vanquisher with lascannon and pask

IG never gives up a good Leman Russ

Okay I redid the entire list with tanks now

Armoured sentinels don't do well. Putting them in squadrons makes them even worse. If you really want to take armoured sents take a maximum of 3, ie 1 per slot. Add more of what you have. Maybe another russ and another vet squad. They look fine. Don't worry about hordes you have plenty of templates.

Yeah, I am not in love with Sentinals either. It is because Vendettas are just soooo good. Three twin linked Lascannons and can carry troops on a fast skimmer for 130pts. Really hard to beat, specially on a mech IG list where they can't get HWSs. It is actually kinda hard to find any IG list where Vendettas are a bad fit.

I like Vanquishers, but it is still a one shot BS 3 (BS 4 with Pask). I like to actually leave the HB on them instead of going LC. Problem is your paying 155pts for something a Vendetta can do better.

I like Bark's list, but I would be tempted to drop the plasma vets down to melta and use those 15pts to give each Sentinal smoke launchers to give them alittle more survivability.

you're right

I'm actually planning to stick to my original air cav list because 1 vendetta has the same fire power as 1 squad of sentinels but for way less points with twin linked, skimmer, scout and transport

I love facing aircav IG. As an Ork player, my Lootas have a field day raining death on them. I'd actually be more wary of sentinels because you can field quite a few of them with both anti-MEQ and anti-horde (plasma spam)
