Good report. A fun read. Your ork army is interesting. Kind of similar to a shooty army I'm thinking about making. I'd like 45 Lootas and 2 SAGs. Not sure if it will work, but it would be fun. Anyway, good job.

Nice read, but I read that you took 4+ Cover on Flamers.

@ InquisitorVaron Flamer wounds and large template of death wounds where always done separately so I never did take cover saves from the flamer wounds. My apologies if it wasn't clear. Even if I would have forgot Sandman would have raised the red flag on that lol. Thanks for the Comment though.



@Madmax1 I originally built a shooty ork army with all the trimmings that I ran at 2000 points but it really had some major draw backs so I now only break out that type of list for fun. If you can't tell from the two reports the SAG isn't very reliable to say the least. More so the army is really weak against FNP and against Heavy Armor. A land raider basically punches your army in the face while you hope claws or a lucky SAG shot takes it out. At least in all my play testing. You can run Shooty orks with 45 lootas as a base but I wouldn't run two SAG's if your want to be competitive with the list. IMHO. Thanks for the comment. =)

in your list when you say your shoota boys have heavy armor, you mean 'ard boys right?

Because only 1 shoota boy mob can be upgraded to ard boys, not both.

YEAH KANNONS! Love seeing grot artillery being used. Great unit in the dex.

@sirlynchmob No I was being fast at typing up my list. It just means the Nob has claw pole and eavy armor. I very rarely ever take a unit of ard boys. So both are normal squishy shoota boys.


@ceku I use kannons all the time with the reroll and the Grot BS plus the 36 inch range they are some if not the best most reliable shooting in the codex. plus a steal for the points. If they fit with your list they are a good deal. =)

So many rules errors in this game.... Still, you seemed to have fun, so that's all that really matters.
