we have a few people but we arent going big we just want a few people to join and build stuff have fun but we are just testing it out

Hamachi is one of the worst available pieces of software for hosting servers, that combined with the fact that dakka already has a high quality server and the lack of interest so far indicates this thread probably won't get any interest.

Just stick with playing with your mates guys.

we think it runs alright and we havent had any complaints about it but we just wanted a server we could call ours if you know what i mean

yeah and also we wanted our own little community where we could do whatever we want and have things like commands so we can make the hugest of things

I can most definately second this !

My fondest memory of Hamachi was going in to safe mode and deleting it (Because installing Hamachi fethed my system up to the point where I could not run it outside of safe mode-- BSoD any time Hamachi is on my computer outside safe mode).

Probably. But if the option is between using Hamachi or not playing multiplayer, I'll pick not playing multiplayer because I like my computer and don't want to hurt it.

Mine has always been fine with it....I have no clue why it doesn't like yours...

Never had a problem with it either, though it's kind of basic as far as VPNs go. Definitely not made for gaming, unless the game requires very little to no traffic.

btw the multiplayer feature "add a server" does not work like that
"add a server" means putting a server into like a bookmark kinda thing so you cant forget others if you put it into like a memory bank

save then you have saved it
then do it again with another server
then you can toggle between the two without re-typing the ip

go on then make your own server if its that easy you wont make one using the add a server feature
you can either do it by:
port forwarding
bukkit setup
hamachi
or website hosting (but you have to pay)

i wouldnt be using hamachi if was as easy as that

We already have a server...

no your OWN one like make one right now
