Thoughts? I only have 3 games with it, but when going second, it is awesome to bring nearly everything in on my side of 2. Lack of Psychic defense could be an issue...

to the op, i like your list m8. Not much i would change, you have a nice setup. Do the vypers work for you?

It seems like a bit of a lost opportunity for the Autarchs having no equipment. With great BS, Fusion Guns are nice. I can tell points are very tight.

If you are worried about lack of psychic defense, try 1 Farseer and 1 Autarch. I've run several games with 2 Autarchs and have found it is sometimes more beneficial to take first turn rather than defer and go all Reserve. Depending on your local armies, Runes of Warding is fairly useful.

I'm a little skeptical about Vypers, but some folks make them work (me not being one of them).

Overall, a fairly solid list IMO.

Good list but fragile.

- 2 Autarchs is really overkill as the only time it provides a bonus is turn two, turn 3+ that second Autarch is just a point sink. the farseer in this list in particular will give you a lot more mileage with guide for your falcon and RoW for psy defense.

- The underslug cannons on the DA are a hazard, there is no reason your scoring troops should be trying to get in a 24" range.

- Holofields are you friend, take them, live them, love them. (on the falcon and prisms)

- Falcon, this is a long range scoring gunboat, not a 4th edition front line tank. EML + Holos + Stones. You'll have 3 S8 48" shots on a tank that will need a LOT of firepower to be stopped letalone blown up.


If you really want to show your opponents the true power and synergy of a list like this take/proxy the following...

Eldrad (in falcon)
Autarch w/ Power Weapon (in a DA serpent)

5 Dragons in Serpent w/ Scatter Laser
5 Dragons in Serpent w/ S Cannon

3x 5 DA in Serepents w/ Scatter Lasers
5 DA (In Falcon)

2x Fire Prism w/ Holofield
Falcon w/ EML, Holos, Stones


Keep toward you max range to pick off you opponent without them being able to fire back. Keep the Falcon with 6" of you Prisms allowing Eldrad to guild any of the 3 vehicles depending on your needs (2 Tl s6 L blasts, 2 TL s9 blasts, 1 of either of those and 3TL s8 shots, etc). The only thing getting aggressive in the list should be your Fire Dragons.

That is 1750, I run 1850. I like your thought process though. I think I will adjust it as follows:

5 dragons, ws w/ sl
5 dragons, ws w/ sl

Screw reserves. Put 5 more meltas and another tank on the board and shoot him from turn 1.
