on a long forgoton planet on the edge of space and time, a lone warrior hunts his elusive prey. yet this is not just any planet no this is a planet made entirely of the warp for it is the warp as much as the warp itself. it is the heart of darkness the core of the warp where a man would go crazy upon seeing it and die upon his first breath. yet on this planet there is one human who stalks something far greater. a deamon, the deamon prince that goes by the name Slayer. a crafty creature able to change size and shape able to become what it wishes. this is the hunted. the hunter, or so he believes, is flourence darkhorse, a madman of a lord long thought to be dead as he was sucked into the warp searching for deamonhood or one to follow him. this is his story.

Day 1
This hell of a planet is barren. Like a great desert, dotted with cacti, that never seems to end. Always there are cliffs just ahead. Always they are just out of reach. In frustration I stop next to a cactus and pull out my sword. I cut the cactus down and leap back in surprise. Instead of water, as I had expected, lava gushes from it. I stand in amazement as the soil sucks it up like water until there is nothing. I waited a moment. Then the ground beneath my feet erupts cracking in the middle. Up comes a geyser of lava and out from this geyser steps a daemon. Red with an oblong head and skinny body with a sword of steel it advances toward me. I strike at the creature and beat a hasty retreat as my sword did nothing to penetrate its flesh. I strike again and the creature blocks it with its ginormous sword. With unimaginable speed it quickly swings at me, missing me by a hair as I dodge backwards. Seeking an opening I charge forward only to be met with a fury of blows. The creatures swings up down left right all with an unnatural speed. It takes all my skill to block each swing and with each I feel my strength leaving me. The creature senses this and swings down to cleave me head to toe. I manage to sidestep the blade. The creature unable to stop its own momentum buries its blade in the sand, as it does so I quickly slash across its throat, decapitating it. With a heavy sigh I crash to the ground exhausted. How long I lay there I know not. All I know is that when I awoke there was only the blade sticking from the ground. In curiosity I go over to the blade and grab its handle. The second I touch the handle an amazing transformation occurs. From being a gigantic sword that would take three men to lift it becomes a simple hand and a half sword. Black blade and a red glowing runes on it. I swing it and find it light as air. Dropping my power sword, which ironically was out of power, I strap this sword into my belt and continue on my way. Yet as I walk I notice that I am in shade I look up to catch a fleeting glimpse of a gigantic creature flying in the air above me, as it disappears. I stare in awe at where it had been mesmerized by the sheer size of the beast, and its blade. The blade jet black was the size of two men and looked like it would take ten men to carry. With this thought I continue on and realize I have somehow stumbled into a valley? With a loud crack a giant bolder falls into place behind me and a path way opens leading to a cave. Exhausted and confused I slump next to the mouth of the cave and sleep.
