Ok, so, I have been seeing a lot of old D.O.O.M.F.A.R.T. threads around lately, and know it has something to do with standing up to Mods. So, what was the point of it, and why was it started?
A bunch of peeps who pretend to be overthrowing Dakka's moderators. Mostly just like to hang out on X-Box Live, their own Facebook group, and the OT Forum.
They do. DOOMFART hasn't ever done anything besides de-escalate threads that get to serious. It's really funny when Shadow Metal-bombs a thread into submission.

Yes, they lock these harmless threads so that they can have their srs discussions about politics and religion. And then lock those when they grow bored and talk about Lady Gaga or fething ponies.
