Subject: Lore Ideas for Death Company

I've decided to use Codex Blood Angels for my first loyalist Space Marine army but with a custom chapter. However, I plan on not having them be successors to the Blood Angels so I need some ideas as to what potentially the Death Company of my chapter could be. Any and all ideas welcome.

They could be Marines taken from a Feral world, and something in the gene seed made them even more blood-thirsty than they were before.
Or they are Marines that are insane sociopaths, and the chapter has them sedated, instead of killed outright, so they can unleash them on their next enemy, in their next battle, if they survive they either re-sedate them, let them die on their own due to the wounds they received or they give them the emperors mercy.
Or you could just leave them out altogether, since they are very tough to use due to rage.

Your "death company" could be hyped up on combat drugs 24-7 to the point that they go crazy when out of battle.

I like the combat drug suggestion, they could be hyped on stimulants and pain killers before they're turned loose. Ever play Rifts? Google it and look up "juicers"
