So I've started buying different vanilla marine things, and I'm pretty set on a Pedro Kantor style Crimson Fist list. I love the fluff, the storyline, and the characterization of Kantor, and the idea of an elite squad of Vets being personally led by PK himself dropping into the middle of enemy lines is pretty fething epic. The list I've put together is meant to be semi competitive. Sure, I like winning as much as the next guy, but I want to be able to do cool things with this army and have fun. Still, I'm new to 'nilla marines, and any constructive criticism regarding weaknesses is always welcome.

I would go for more sternguard to abuse your HQs ability.
I wouldn't go for the combiflamers as the special ammo should cover your antiinfantry duties.

Not sure your dread fits in and whether drop podding is a good idea.

I would drop kantor because you already have enough scoring units AND an HQ, he's really not worth it.

Don't get the epistolary upgrade, it's basically only useful when you want to do a combination of might, quickening and force weapon kills, which isn't a great idea because you should keep him alive to cast NZ or gate.

Don't use a venerable dread like you are, they're better with long-range weapons so don't give it a pod unless you want to tamper with your pod total. If you want a pod dread, use a basic one for half the cost.

It's tricky deciding on a transport for sternguard. If you're running a full squad, a rhino is probably the best choice. Downside to this is they can't deploy with a character and a rhino is likely to get popped sooner or later. A pod lets them get to wherever you want but after that they can barely move. Maybe give the librarian gate and run them with him, and use their transport slot to get another lazorback.

Also consider the stronos razor with a TL PG, most people prefer it over TLLC.
