I just lost a 1000 pt battle, Necrons VS Mechdar.

So why are you proud that your Necrons lost, you cry.. Is this not a moment for weeping, wailing and BSing about how OP Eldar are, and how UP Necrons are...

My opponent was my 6 year old daughter, and it was her first 40K game (borrowing Mommy's space-elfs). She lost a total of 2 Dire Avengers

They grow up so fast We're having a rematch tomorrow so that she can trounce dear old dad again. Batrep to follow, perhaps

(and for those carmudgeonly cynics out there, I didn't throw the game for her, though we did leave out a few of the more complex rules, as she's only been 6 for about a month )

The Viletide: Daemons of Nurgle/Deathguard: 7400 pts
Disclples of the Dragon - Ad Mech - about 2000 pts
GSC - about 2000 Pts
Rhulic Mercs - um...many...
Circle Oroboros - 300 Pts or so
Menoth - 300+ pts

I always love hearing the batreps like this. Warms your heart. For some reason, every parent loses, but still.

Also, she better enjoy that victory now, because when the end of the month rolls around, 'crons are gonna be wrecking those Eldar, no matter how much you try to throw the game.

Because parents don't like bragging they smashed their kids army flat on their first game

I also have my orks and DE if the Necrons are too much of a face-flattener.

That said, she rolls like her mother (cannot roll below a 4 ; ) ) and is stubborn as hades, so you can bet she'll have robot-smushing down fast
