500 Points Chaos. Hey all this is an idea for army please tell

I haven't played CSM, but as a space marine played I would suggest adding a little more troops but i know how it is it's extremly hard to make a good small army. If you were palying SM i would add a land speeder.

I'd get some rhinos for your troops, and drop the termi lord for a PA one so he can get in a rhino too.
If you have plague marines, run those with 2 melta or plas instead of the standard CSM.
You can get the points by dropping the 3rd squad, just use the left over points fomr the rhinos to get more CSM/PM. If you can get your CSM to 10, you can take 2 melta/plas.
If you really want the champs, give the PW's or fists. The plas pistol is high risk on a 30 point champ at the 500 pts level.

Forum rules state you can't list points for each equipment item. Just do this...

As for your list, I would replace the CSM for a second PM unit in a Rhino. Give them melta guns instead of plasma and a combi-melta on the Rhino. Put your Lord in that Rhino and give him a fist and a Mark (probably Khorne since you can't afford nurgle).

Mark of nurgle is a waste tbh.

Yeah, it's normaly not as good to mix spc/heavy weapons as to go one route, so take 2 melta instead on the PM.
Also, if you can, take a rhino on both squads.
Do NOT give your lord a fist, it is a watste of his I 5. Take a PW instead. Or if you have the points make him a DP, or give him a PW, or demon weapon, any thing but a fist.
