More of a 30 Degree angle. With an obtuse theory on everything also enjoy wearing exponents and variables on constant graphing.

They Are knightly but their first company was native american for a bit until they all died.

They are knights, the reason they appeer Native American is because Lion El'Johnson was the first Primarch to be made and as such was closest to the Emporer

Can you explain to everyone what this statement actually means?

The reason why Dark Angels have some 'Native Amercan' styling details (a few feathers here and there) is due to the fact that at one time they recruited from a planet called Plains World which was a planet inhabitated by Native American-esque people. This planet is now long since lost so Plains World only has a small impact on the Dark Angels culture (feathers, although it could be said that the image of angels also causes this and the Deathwing colour scheme).

its safe to say that relictors are the greatest army a man , nay human can own.

I would assume that the Emporer would create the first Primarch in his image, and thus make him Native American. And if the Lion was Native American then it stands to reason his legion would look like that too. The reason they are knightly are because of The Order that found and raised Lion after his time in the forest

Dark Angels are supposed to resemble Monastic Knights such as the Teutonic Order.

The Emperor created 20 primarchs, so why should he look like an american native?
Ever seen a pic of them?

The DA are knightly because they are based on castles and knights and thus a medieval theme NOW.
Whatever that native theme was, is unimportant yet.
The Lion, a creature not to be found in america, but commonly used in heraldry in europe, asia and africa, plus the angel, also a non-american figure, and the sword in its form with the DA,which is a knightly weapon, should give it away.

Lion was found by a Knightly order, I haven't read anything anywhere about Indians being involved... Maybe the knights were around but the true natives throughout the land were indians?

I'm not saying that everything about them is Native American like, I agree that they are knightly in heraldry and armour, but physically I could see them as NA
