I mean really, what good does it do? Is there a place where I can see where they are exalted? Is it like the "like" button on FB?

The mods have mentioned they would like to put up a "most exalted threads" list at some point, so that's one purpose. It also saves the thread for you to look at later.

More or less, yes. It's just a way of saying that you think a thread is worthy of praise.

That list has been up for as long as the Exalt button. It's in the 'Top Threads' link at the top of the page.

Yeah, much like the 'friend' button, many of the potential uses for the 'exalt' feature will be implemented someday in the future.
